The Many Styles Of The Ford Torino

The Torino series was produced by Ford and Manufactured between the years of 1968 and 1976. This car was released to the Ford Fairline family but would eventually come to replace it. The Torino was powerful but had a comfortable composition. Later in 1968, Ford released a progressed Torino GT model, which had a better combination of power and handling that muscle car enthusiasts would come to appreciate. This car was capable of doing 0 to 60 in 7 seconds, broadening the fast car spectrum and allowing Ford to push the limits just a little bit farther. Also produced that year, a family oriented station wagon called the Torino Squire. This allowed the Torino series to bring in more of a variety of consumers by peaking interest with a more stylish, spacious and safe vehicle. In 1969, Ford Released the Torino Cobra, a subseries of the Torino. The cobra would later go on to achieve high performance history! The next to arise was the infamous Torino Talladega, which would become a legend in and of itself in the racecar industry. This car was capable of moving over 200 mph on designated tracks because of its aerodynamic design.

Beginning in 1970, they introduced the New Torino. These cars we lengthier, lower and broader than the previous ones produced in 68-and 69-. With this new era of the Torino they introduced the Torino Brougham which portrayed all the looks of a sports car but was considered a luxury vehicle. It was a top level car sold in the 70-s.

Finally in 1972, the public had access to Fords newest venture in this series, the Gran Torino. This was a bigger and more masculine model that immediately fascinated Ford fans. The Torino will always be remembered for its futuristic design and ferocious performance.
